We also place tremendous emphasis on post-graduation pathways and career readiness, because when young people are excited at the prospect of what lies ahead, they’re motivated to work through obstacles in the present. This doesn’t mean that all of our students stay with us through high school graduation, no. But some students, it should be acknowledged, will never be at home in the general education classroom, and we provide a home for them. Our students are with us as long as they need to be, and they’re mainstreamed as soon as they can be. This is what it means to us to put the child first. Always.
